Re: Woman Dies After Debris Crashes Through Car Window
I also am afraid to pass them on a sharp curve, even though my girlfriend insists that if the load tipped it would tip in the opposite direction than the side I am passing on (left). I am also afraid of being in their blind spot so I always try to stay way back or way ahead. It always pisses me off when I see a car cut a truck off. Even a child knows how long it takes a vehicle with that much weight to stop.

You have any idea what the odds would be against that? Maybe she should have tried the lottery that day, at least it would have held her up a few seconds and she would have missed the drum |

Re: Woman Dies After Debris Crashes Through Car Window
About 10 years ago, someone (likely kids) threw a fair sized stone over a walk bridge that crosses one of the freeways through the city. It went through the window of a school bus and killed the senior gentleman driver, who had taken up the part time job to help pass time in his retirement. They never did catch the rat bastards as far as I know. Most (if not all) of our walk bridges are now covered by curved chain link fence. |
