If I remember correctly, this was simply a teenager with a deathwish......no disabilities. And household 110 current is certainly enough to kill you, especially if it's a sustained charge. It only takes a few miliamps to interrupt the electrical activity of the heart.
I guess that suicide is something we all might consider at various points in our lives, but those of us who have seen the aftermath (either personally or in pictures such as these) would not do this to our families and loved ones.
Whenever I am feeling that depressed, I always consider that tomorrow is another day, and I don't know what changes tomorrow may bring.
Suicide is never worth it, except in very rare cases (terminal illness).
Imagine the horror her parents went through upon finding her.
120 can kill you, but its hard to do. I've got it a few times, and i've seen old school electricians test 120 circuits with their bare hands..... Thats what they used to teach in trade schools... Its not the voltage its the amps that kills... Maybe if she had her feet in a bucket of water.... But that breaker should trip.
