What this medic is doing is pretty much a waste of time. We all know that this patient is dead and that he's not going to register a blood pressure due to the fact that he has no brain. But this medic has probably got some paper work to do for the paper pushers back at the office:

Is he unresponsive?: Yes.
Apenic (not breathing)?: No breath sounds bilaterally. No chest movement.
Pulse?: No palpable carotid pulse.
Neurological Response?: Negative; Pupils fixed and dilated bilaterally.
Asystole (flat line)?: No electrical activity as determined by a 2-Lead electrocardiograph.
Damage or destruction of the body which is incompatible with life?: Most definitely.
