this guy lost his arm due to some accident, they reattached it but an infection started the doctors found out than when the arm was cut off it fell into a drain and ended up contaminated, the doctors was left with two choices remove permanently, or try to save it by reconnecting it to a healthy area to keep the arm nourished while they cleaned the infected area. They moved the arm to the groin area and connected the blood vessels from the groin to the arm. Nine days later they reconnected the arm to where it belonged
