Waitress in her late teens hanged herself outside the cafe where she worked, ostensibly due to a breakup. Her body was discovered 15 minutes later by a bouncer at the cafe.

This incident occurred in Indonesia, where they often include moderately-detailed reports of the scene. In this case, the police responder issued an extremely thorough and detailed report of the scene and the events, including a full visual analysis (they usually truncate these). Because I find that full police reports add a lot to the story, but are often hard to obtain, I will include it in its entirety here. I've done the translation, but have the original documents if someone prefers to read them and translate on their own.

On Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:30 a.m. Victim chatted with V in the Cafe T, but after a few minutes excused herself to go outdoors to the toilet. About 15 minutes later GS, a security guard at the cafe, also went outside to urinate but was very surprised after seeing the Victim hanging on a pole beside the cafe. He shouted for help from two of the waitresses inside, saying that victim had hung herself. Then GS looked for the owner of the cafe in her house to tell her that victim hung herself. The owner called the police and photographed the scene before having the security guard take down the girl's body.

The position of the victim when discovered:
Height of victim is 150 cm
The distance from the knot to the ground is 2 meters.
Distance from the upper neck to the roof is 20 cm.
The victim's toes were all touching the ground, but her heels were raised.

Characteristic Features of Victim on Examination:
Ligature mark is visible around the neck.

Decedent is wearing a black shirt and a pair of black shorts 28cm in length. Her eyes are black and her hair is straight, black, and partially dyed red. Tattoos are seen on the right arm, right hand, and right side of the neck. Victim is wearing a blue and white striped bra and red underpants with a floral print pattern. The underpants are damp with urine in the genital area. They are also wet with loose stool around the area of the rectum. The victim has one earring in the left ear and two in the right. She wears pink nail polish on her hands and feet. Her feet are bare and her blue sandals were lying separated on the ground below her. Her lips are mostly blue with pink lipstick overlaying.

Rigor mortis is not yet set. The lower jaw is locked tightly, but the arms, legs, and trunk are not rigid.
The ligature mark partially encircles neck circumference with upward direction on the back of the neck on the right side of the upper limit 7 cm from the lower end of the auricle, lower limit 8 cm wide 1 cm, the back side 4 cm from the edge of the hair below the limit bottom 4.2 cm.

The object used for a ligature was a black scarf

There's an old adage among the mental health/emergency and crisis personnel community that has always stuck with me...."Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem!" Contrary to the explicit physical evidence, most people who commit suicide are not seeking death itself, but rather an end of their suffering! Therefore, having the wisdom of their true intent, reveals that suicide is rather an issue of perception, than morbidity! In other words, they wrongfully cogitate that there will be no end to their pain! Ironically, their solitary journey into darkness is found in the very act of escaping their passion! We must pass through our agonies, to "see" the meaning and purpose(s) of our lives on the other side of it! If not, the pain blocks out the future, and by running and/or turning away from it, we'll only perceive darkness!

that bank note is actually 10.000 indonesian rupiah, equivalent to around 70 u.s cents.
