Back on January 17th, a 45yo man with eyesight problems (looks like a cataract on his right eye) wandered onto a road in an attempt to cross it but was killed. He'd spent the night drinking with his brother and tried to cross the highway in a drunken stupor.

The driver stated that he saw the deceased when he was only a few metres away and tried to swerve. He was breathalysed by the police but he tested negative.

Being a bit going along that road myself, it always makes me sad to see blind people/people with poor eyesight get killed.
It's very frustrating not to be able to see well. Anyway, his fault, as much as it counts now. But poor bastard.
