They signed their own death warrants. It's not what weapon they had, but their INTENTS. Their intention was to rob a salon. Real or not real, the police officer responded to a robbery and had to make a decision given the facts. That's fine, two scumbags down. Might be toy pistol this time...but what about next? (hypothetically speaking since the culprits are both dead).
