Two Dead In A Serious Car Accident in Ponta Grossa, Brazil
On the afternoon of Wednesday, a serious accident left 2 dead and 2 wounded at BR-376 in Ponta Grossa, Brazil. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the victims were professional cyclists and heading for a state competition of São Paulo, when the driver lost control of the vehicle (VW Santana) which overturned and crashed into the side of a truck. Two people died at the scene, two other (Including the driver  ) survived the crash and were taken to the Ponta Grossa hospital in a serious condition.The Federal Highway Police believe that the rain and the high speed may have contributed to this fatality. The Civil Police investigates the causes of the accident. |
