A 31-year-old trans woman was killed and had her body butchered in Vigário Geral, in Rio's North Zone.

T.S., who worked as a call girl and offered services through a website, was last seen picking up a car for transport in front of home in Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense.

According to relatives, she had gone to meet a client and has not made further contact since Saturday (7). The victim's relatives managed to find out the address of the service and went to the place, in Vigário Geral, where they found the victim butchered and the suspect on the spot, who fled.

At the scene were found a saw, a machete - that would have been used to dismember T. - and a shovel and wheelbarrow, which would be used in a burial.

The prime suspect in the case has been identified as T.S.

On his Facebook page, he attempted to defend his actions by claiming that the victim had pulled out something sharp.

They posted my photo calling me a murderer. I just defended myself, she did something that couldn't be done. I slapped her and she reacted by pulling out something sharp. I didn't premeditate anything, why would I do something like that in my own home? I was trying to start my life over. When someone dies, everyone says they were a good person, and the killer is ridiculed. They share without knowing what happened. This person fucked up my life, now I'll have to stay in the drug trade, a life I gave up. So to those posting [my photo], let me ask you a question: if it was the drug trade that killed her, would you be posting the photo of her? If you say yes, you're lying, because trafficking kills somebody every day, and I don't see any family posting anything, so understand that she wasn't a saint, and you know that very well!
