10 Images of the war, natural disasters, and terrorist attacks over the past 10 years 1: Drowned African immigrants lie on the coast of Fuerteventura- canary islands- off of the coast of morocco august 1st 2003. They drowned after their boat capsized 2: Palestinians carrying two babies after an Israeli artillery shell hit their homes April 10th, 2006 3: A burning British soldier jumps from a burning tank, set ablaze in southern Iraq on September 19th, 2005 4: A very lucky man with an arrow in head arrives in a hospital January 26, 2008, after ethnic clashes in the town of Nakuru in the Rift Valley area 5: A Georgian man cries out as he holds the body of a relative after a Russian warplane dropped a bomb on an apartment on August 9th, 2008 6: A 12yr old wounded after an air-strike on April 6, 2003 in Baghdad. This left him orphaned, badly burned, blowing off both arms. (..wonder why he's smiling...) 7: Riot police rush past a dead protester in central Genoa July 20th, 2001 8: Unidentified bodies lie on a street on march 6th, 2003 after Israeli forces killed at least 11 Palestinians during a major raid. 9: The body of the 11th murdered commercial farmer in Zimbabwe on June 2, 2002.
