Man, there is an abundance of possibilities… Im only speculating of course.  First. The deceased’s clothes. Why have it all packed in a big luggage bag? Maybe looking to escape someone? Or maybe packed it all in there as a last way to say goodbye, so that anyone else, maybe vagrants in the area in need could get it. The specific placement of the luggage bag may not be too important, considering that the CCTV surveillance footage reveals that it was a suicide jump into the river. Secondly, The post-mortem treatments. The other comments here did mention that a boat propeller may have been involved and I agree. If it were a murder and the perpetrators were cutting up the body to dispose of it, there would have been more consistent cuts where the limbs were attached and certainly no curve-like cuts throughout the body (for the seemingly rounded edges, it may have been a case of bloating, animal predation, or the exposure to the water shrinking/loosening the skin. Maybe all of them). The head also supports this. It can be easy to scalp a dead body by hand, but not so when it comes to taking a chunk that large off of the cranium. Only a propeller could do that to a dead body, So I’m sticking with the boat propeller, maybe a series of boats have collided with the cadaver without notice, hence the displacement of the body parts throughout the river, and a bit of animal activity that may have moved it while they were scoring to have a bite of what remained.  Again, this is only my speculation. And this is not as bad as the tub girl post.  |
