The post you quoted is pure facts. Doesn't matter whether she deserved it or not, or whether no means no. There are places in the world where if you do 'abc', you're more likely to get 'xyz' than in other, more civilised places. That girl lies there, raped and dead. There's a good chance that this was as a result of her naive, innocent choices. It doesn't make it right, but this is planet Earth, not the land where everybody respects consent. |

My wording should have been better... but no i'm not blaming this girl. I'm sorry if my comment seemed that way. I'm just saying it's not an uncommon thing in the Philippines. It's happened to my own relatives kids, and it pisses me of how they settled the crime with money, rather than the rapist doing time in prison. There have been times their own families will set them up for this kind of scenario in order to frame someone just to get money. Extorting their own fucking kids. You are absolutely right that this girl did not deserve this. I apologize once again, but i'm just being honest that a lot of corrupt shit goes down in the Philippines. sorry if it came off that way.
