Re: Swedish Homicide Victim
Jens was strangled to death by his boyfriend during a fight on the kitchen floor. Rumors say the fight was over a down payment on a new house that the boyfriend (the killer) should have made but didn't. He had lied about having a lot more money than he actually had and Jens found out about it. Some of the photos in the set are up close pics of the broken hyoid bone, the result of strangulation. The body was hidden in the storage room for around 2 weeks while the boyfriend tried to throw everyone off the scent by posting on the dead guy's facebook, pretending to be him. The family of the victim more or less knew all along that something was wrong though, since he refused to talk to his mom on the phone etc. Really just a sad, tragic story that could've been avoided if he had simply told the truth instead of pretending to be able to afford a new house. |

Re: Swedish Homicide Victim
Here are a some photos of the victim, Jens Janzon, and and his boyfriend/killer, Stefan Nilsson. There's also a photo from the crime scene reenactment where Stefan shows how he strangled Jens on the kitchen floor, as well as some pics from the storage room where the body was found. Well hidden under blankets and stuff (arrow) in a fairly cluttered storage room, and decomposition slowed down due to the cooler temperature in the basement, it's easy to see why it wasn't discovered until 2 weeks later when neighbours started to complain about a foul smell.
