Suicide by Multiple Sharp-force Injuries with Broken Glass from Picture Frame
    This individual committed suicide with broken glass from a picture frame. No further info. Sharp-force injuries are defined as injuries produced by an instrument with a thin edge or point. Examples of these instruments include a knife, razor, box cutter, scalpel, sharp-edged piece of metal, broken glass bottle, broken glass window, scissor, ice pick, fork, propeller, screw driver, saw blade, axe, machete, arrow, nail, pick- axe, spiked fence post, meat cleaver, etc. A stab wound is typically made by a knife blade and is defined as having a greater depth of penetration than surface dimension. An incised wound is a slicing-type injury where the surface dimension is greater than the depth of penetration. - This post is for educational purposes only and is nonprofit. Looks like an AWFUL lot of work, to me! I'm afraid I'd be way too lazy for this kind of suicide. I would probably break the glass, and then go watch "Gilligan's Island". |
