Re: Suicide Aftermath
She wanted to be seen. Pics are taken after, which fulfills her last wishes and gets someone a little cash at the same time. Mental illness sucks, but even more for the ones who look normal on the outside. No one wants to believe they are seriously in danger of dying. I wonder if her jump was planned to cause the most hurt and horror to someone she was extremely angry with? Meet the new spirit haunting the fence from now on, if you believe in that sort of thing.

Re: Suicide Aftermath
While this is often true, a large portion of suicide attempts are "heat of the moment" emotional acts or, somewhat surprisingly, even the result of spontaneous ideation, especially among adolescent boys - e.g., a guy is sitting on the couch watching a basketball game and thinks "kill yourself" with no obvious trigger and walks into the kitchen and starts violently stabbing himself in the neck with a dirty spork - which has only recently been described as a widespread phenomenon by psychology researchers and is currently a very active topic of study.

Re: Suicide Aftermath
Well, she might not have intentionally "aimed" for the fence. Women are rather peculiar when it comes to suicide-most choose a method that (they believe) won't compromise their looks or aren't too gory such as hanging, drowning and overdose. But as for why someone would want to go out in a truly heinous matter...well, to be honest, not all suicides can be put into one catagory. You have your brainless pissed-off child/teen who thinks, "I'll show them!", your attention whore who wants to go out in a "blaze of glory", your sjw who "Must Make A Statement", your mentally ill who believes someone or thing is compelling them...and then you have the really, REALLY damaged person. The damaged person doesn't just want to die-they want to wipe themselves out of existence. Their self-hatred and self-loathing drives them to not just kill themselves, but to actually torture and cause maximum pain to themselves. Their suicides are the truly mind-boggling ones-ingesting a poison or acid, self immolation, chainsaw, bandsaw, circular saw, self-decapitation,... Although I don't know if she ever completed the full act of suicide, ColdnessInMyHeart comes to mind for showing the extent that self-hatred can go to. And although her pictures are on this site, I seriously recommend that you give careful consideration to the old saying, "You can't un-see it" before you go looking. I hope this helps you understand a bit better. |

Re: Suicide Aftermath
"Poke her 'fore she gets cold!" I call bottom half... She has the gothic / Halloween look down pretty well. Black knickers, black bra, black fence, black curb, orange guts, orange trash can lid. If that was all planned, she was a perfectionist... |
