Around 6am this morning, the body of a self-proclaimed witch was discovered lying in the street. The woman was very well known in the area and had an active online presence, offering services as a witch, fortune teller, and psychic. She allegedly received a call to perform some sort of services last night and should have consulted her crystal ball before leaving.

Whatever the caller's agenda was, it didn't go well for the Bruja.

According to police reports, she had been beaten and tortured, including having several fingernails torn out and being strangled multiple times with a ligature. Finally, she was shot once in the chest and once in the head. The remains of plastic bindings were attached to her wrists and her boobs were pulled out from her bra, her shirt lifted. No sign of sexual trauma was reported, however. Her body was then dumped in the road.

According to reports from the Ministry of Public Security, around 6 in the morning, a manilated body was alerted on the return of the general hospital, in the area known as Tierras Prietas.

State police confirmed the discovery, cordoned off the area and requested the presence of experts from the State Attorney General's Office to carry out the legal proceedings.

Minutes later, the victim was identified as M.M. a well-known witch in Chilpancingo for her alleged pacts and her FB channel, where she transmitted part of her work.

Last year, the Catholic community of Chilpancingo maintained a fight with M.M. when she sent a life-size image of Satan in the old Tixtla highway, prompting protests.

Sources close to the victim reported that yesterday a group of people asked M.M. to go with them to a town in Chichihualco to do a job.
