Strangled His Boyfriend and Hid Him in Storage Room.
S and J men met and fell in love with each other in 2013, in Sweden. The relationship went very quickly forward and S moved in with J after a few weeks of dating. S claimed that he would inherit millions soon and wanted them to buy a house. The deposit was however never paid and J started to see the truth about his boyfriend who is a huge liar and conned money from his own family and friends before. J normally spoke to his mother several times per day and was supposed to go with S to Cyprus for a holiday. When he suddenly stopped calling his family got worried and contacted the police. S was making facebook posts pretending to be in Cyprus. Police found J's apartment clean and tidy but when they checked the storage room in the same building they found J's body underneath a cover. He'd been dead for a few days and had started to putrefy. He had been strangled to death with much force. S tried to kill himself out in some woods but failed when the tree limb broke, he turned him myself in to the police after that. Here's some photos from the preliminary investigation report and autopsy report. |

Is one of them of a hyoid bone? I have heard many times that one of the clues that indicates strangulation in a broken hyoid bone. I have never seen one from real life though. |

The hyoid bone was not broken in this case but did have a bleeding close to it. The thyroid cartilage superior horns were both broken however.
