I agree with whomever said said do look peaceful, but, it breaks my heart to see young children and teens tie like that.

I put drowning under fire as the worst ways to die.
Not really. It's unpleasant, but its over in a couple of minutes (at least the conscious struggling part). Try a lingering death of months from cancer for a nasty exit.
