It's pressure mate... remember the Rettendon murders? 3 Essex gangsters in a RangeRover met up with 2 shotguns? Look up their images on here. You see the same splits in the head but no knives, etc, where used.

yeh squeak, i remember the case, the driver's eye was popped out, {the rise of the foot soldiers, 10 out of 10}, but i still have to ask why is his face split?

It looks like some metal has entered behind his right ear ... and come out a bit around the left - perhaps the brain pushed the eyes out ??
(EDIT: looks like he fell against the metal after a strike to the left side)
