Happened in China.

Apparently a man was robbing his neighbours, on robbing one house the 8 year old girl was awake and saw him so he tried kill her getting rid of his only witness. But she survived.

I wonder what line of thinking makes someone think that they have more right to steal what isn't theirs than some innocent person has a right to live?
