I feel sorry for them, their suffering from depression and already feel like they can't do anything right in life, so they try to commit suicide and then fail at that too.. lmao  |

Actually, there's videos of people with similar facial wounds who are quite coherent (if unable to speak). So, yeah, it's quite possible. Bizarre, yes, but possible.

the human will to survive is so strong, as long as no brain damage or vital artery's are damaged, survival is almost certain, as long as your organ's deal with the shock, but it's the after shock that's going to be there big hurdle. what a shame!  lad

Ok... wwww...wait! Am im the only one whose mouth is open for about 5 minutes comparing picture 2 and 3? You want to tell me, that this is the same guy? He propably still looks better than me and has already shot a shotgun into his face? When i was a kid and played hide and seek i cut myself accidently on a really sharp piece of metal and this scar on my ass still looks worse than his. They look like a small bike crash or something. "Hey dude, had a fight with your cat?" -"No... shot myself with a shotgun, funny story..." "Allright, tell me at the bar." I mean... on the first picture he even has no more right eye! Where is his fucking eye? If i was the doctor and have seen him coming in i propably would say "ok, im off guys, see you on monday!" They must bee magicians... Is here some medic who can explain this to me? This is the must stunnishing thing ive seen for a long long time! |

Welcome to the world of reconstructive surgery. Though I'm not sure it's the same guy, reconstructive and plastic surgeons perform minor miracles on a daily basis putting back together what looks like a complete and utter mess to most. The worst I've dealt with personally (as a veterinarian) was a dog who had fallen off the back of a truck, and had snapped the lower jaw at both rami below the articular condyles (why it didn't simply disarticulate? No idea, must have been how the jaw hit the ground). It looked like a mess, the lower jaw was dangling upon its neck, but being the tough bugger that it was it was barely suffering shock. A four hour surgery to plate the jaw back into place and even I was impressed with how well it all came back together again. Not that it's anywhere in the league of what human surgeons do with botched shotgun wounds, but the principles are the same. |
