Ecuadorian tecnocumbia singer Edith Rosario Bermeo Cisneros, known as Sharon la Hechicera, died near San Pablo in Santa Elena province on January 4, 2015. She was 40. Courts found that she was thrown from the vehicle in which she was traveling and run over on the Ruta del Spondylus. Her injuries included a skull-base fracture, internal hemorrhaging, a pulmonary laceration and a compound fracture of her left leg.

Her partner, Geovanny López, told traffic investigators that an unidentified speeding vehicle had struck her and fled. The courts rejected that account. López was initially sentenced on June 30, 2015, to two years for negligent homicide, but the verdict was annulled on August 13. He was convicted of femicide at a retrial on October 29 and sentenced to 26 years in prison and $100,000 in reparations. The conviction was upheld on appeal on January 6, 2016.

Two nurses were later prosecuted over leaked morgue and autopsy photographs. Their case was dismissed on September 30, 2019, because investigators could not identify who took the photographs.

This is a pretty complete posting....do you need to see inside her body cavity to complete the picture?. That leg was enough for me. I saw a man fall into a grain mill and his leg hit a 3 inch auger. It looked just like that, but he lived.... Until he did not like living and swallowed the business end of a 12 gauge shotgun. That finished him.
