To be perfectly honest, what I am REALLY fucking tired of is this cliquish, elitist bullshit holier-than-thou secret club of chinese morgue nudes that is so endemic across this scene.

For YEARS now, only a small select group of people have been 'privileged' with possession of these images. And they either charge hundreds and hundreds of dollars like Meatfucker...or they come around here once in a blue moon making like Father fucking Christmas in the ghetto and doling out dribs and drabs of partial sets or intermittent complete ones all the while making it known that they have an entire stash of these pics that they just refuse to share here.

To people like myself and some others, who have spent thousands and thousands of hours of our time over the years, finding rare content OTHER than chinese morgue pictures and sharing it with everyone here just because we want to...it's fucking insulting.

People think that because they paid a handful of shekels for a set, they can just horde it and never share and meanwhile take advantage of those of us who spend more time than money could ever buy providing them with images for free.

So I say thank fucking Christ that someone came here and posted a legit purchasing stream for these images. Hopefully it will encourage purchasers to post freely here, in the same spirit that I and Simone and KH and many others have been doing for THEM for years and years now.

And, as an aside, this does not apply the same way to people who do contribute to the site (blue/green names). I still think it sucks when you guys are withholding, but at least you're giving something back in the form of money.

But free users who donate nothing? You fuckers are on notice. I find out you assholes are buying chinese images off of telegram and not sharing them here? I will fucking ban your ass for being a buttpirate douchebag.

If you go back and read what I said when I replied to you, you will see I was only calling you out for buying these chinese sets and then not sharing them here. If you aren't doing that, then so be it.

But if you use our site for free, to find links to give your money to other sites/people for content and you refuse to share that content here? Then yes, you are a shithole.

Let me remind you that all these Chinese photos are illegal per Chinese law. Chinese morticians risk jail time to sell these photos. Distributors risk jail time to distribute these photos.

Therefore, the distribution of these photos in China is always done in a clandestine, cliquish, club-like way, to avoid attracting police. It's like selling hard drugs.

International distribution is often also done by the Chinese, so the modus operandi is often the same. But for sites with little Chinese connection, a different way of distribution may be possible.

The Chinese distributors' motivation is profit and profit alone. If other people start distributing these photos for free, it will hurt their profit. That's why they are really against people sharing photos for free.

Excusez-moi, but did you (or DR) go to verify that link? Had that link turned out to be a scam, would you or DR give back money to the victims?

If both of the answers are "no", then you basically exercise zero responsibility for the link. Then how could you ask people to share contents of the link?

If the link were a scam, members would have to suck it up, and if the link were genuine, members would have to share its content, is that what you mean?

I don't disagree with "the people should share" part; I just think that DR administration needs to take up some responsibility before telling members to make sacrifices, offerings, and donations.

And this is why, despite the fact that I know the Chinese language, I never participate in getting Chinese morgue photos. Two reasons: First, most Chinese in the scene are scammers; they really can't be trusted. Second, the veracity of the photo sets cannot be verified.

If I am satisfied with fake stuffs, I don't need to be in Documenting REALity; I just need to go to tumblr or onlyfans or pixiv or whatever. But I want to see the real stuff, and I am sure that other people in this board, the "REAL death picture" board, will also want to see real stuff.

DR already takes and absorbs a shitload of responsibility and cost just by keeping this site open and allowing users to browse and access this content free of charge or at very minimal cost. There are constant legal battles and struggles with law enforcement agencies of different sorts about what we allow to be posted here. We are certainly under absolutely zero obligation to protect non-contributing users if they want to go to an outside source and risk their own money.

Users who make a public show of obtaining content and then both refuse to share that content and refuse to support the site financially are subject to a ban. I have never banned or restricted anyone's access to this site for the sole reason of them refusing to contribute. But there are limits to that. Showing a willingness to use our site to contact and purchase content but an unwillingness to allow DR to benefit from that in any way is offensive and pushes those limits. I will not allow the site to be taken advantage of in such a fashion.

This is a privately owned and operated site, supported additionally by private member donations. It isn't some sort of two-way street policy. We have no obligations of any kind whatsoever to anyone here, LEAST of all to non-contributors who use the site and give nothing back in return.

Any one of them is free to pack up and find another place to source their death photos any time they wish if they don't like the way we handle things here.

Okay I was willing to risk a small amount of money and I've mooched off this site for many years. So here's my contribution, as for the people giving the site/mods shit for asking people to share. Mods how about you ban them no questions asked. They don't approve of people sharing images, they should stand by their own standards and go find or pay for it themselves.
