I agree with you on principle, but in terms of practicality, who drives around with jack stands in their vehicle all the time?

I've got a shop at my farm with jack stands that will hold up everything from a 450lb lawn tractor to a 9,000lb row-crop tractor. I use them all the time, but never carry them in my road vehicles "just in case". I've got proper jacks for that.

many here in the Philippines do. with all these crazy teens puncturing wheels of parked cars for fun. If you found your car with several flat tires. having stands will prevent your tire being permanently damaged. thats if the tire can still be vulcanized.
