Re: Rapist Killed by Victim's Family.
are we talking our political based judicial system, or perhaps a small town in another country? I totally agree with innocent until proven guilty, but our system doesn't show that it's perfect. sometimes, local meted out justice is far more accurate. just we cannot get the whole story from start to finish, I have to assume he perhaps was guilty is all |

Re: Rapist Killed by Victim's Family.
obviously everyone will have a different view but we all have to die and "i" assume once it has happened, none of us will care about what happened in our lives or about the fact we are dead but, we "do not" have to live with the horror, fear and "incorrectly apportioned" guilt of being raped to me, a quick death would be much, much more humane than to be raped |

Re: Rapist Killed by Victim's Family.
If rape is worse than death, then how come the suicide rate of the people that were raped is not 100 percent ? Maybe because a lot of people are able to overcome it and enjoy their life ? As bad as rape is there's still a chance for recovery and moving on, unlike with death where you don't get any more emotions after that. You don't get to grow or change, you don't get to have new experiences, you don't get any second chances. You are forever gone from this Universe. |
