The collection is a personal scrapbook of unrelated images gathered from several sources, and many have no recoverable date, location or case information. Its compiler said a reverse-image search linked one photograph to the November 1944 murders of Virginia Lee Griffin and Lillian Johnson in downtown Los Angeles, although the image-to-case match was not independently confirmed.

The bodies of Griffin, 25, who was also identified as Virgie Lee Griffin, and Johnson, 38, were found on November 15, 1944, in two hotels three blocks apart. Griffin was found at the Barclay Hotel at 103 West Fourth Street, and Johnson was found at the Joyce Hotel. Both women had been cut open with a knife and a razor blade. Otto Stephen Wilson was arrested in a bar near the hotels and confessed to both killings. He was convicted, sentenced to death and executed in the gas chamber at San Quentin on September 20, 1946.

Pic #10 (dead gal on top of the Chicago Tribune) is one of dozens of Polaroid photos from the Cook County morgue that I submitted to rotten.com 20+ years ago. I can't tell you how they came to be in my possession, however.

I don't remember the details of the case, but that might be the gal who was killed alongside her toddler. Brutal scene, with blood all over the place. I haven't seen those pics in ages.

Thanks, I was going to comment separately with what little info I could provide for certain photos as some I literally got off of Tumblr years ago with no captions or anything like that so needless to say I still don't know any information about half of these pictures. However the last one is one of the dozens of victims by William Suff AKA The Riverside Prostitute Killer, real nasty piece of work he was. Here's the article about him on Murderpedia (another site that I love using since it's extremely informative as it is downright insightful).
