According to police, the officer took a revolver and shot at several people before shooting himself in the head at the table he was sitting inside the monitoring room.

During the survey police investigators found a paper near the computer keyboard saying: "I love you always."

I'm not certain that's a police chief (looks more like a cubicle worker than a police station). If it was a police chief, he probably just got tired of reading unedited police reports from knucklehead bad speller cops. That's why I never wanted to be a supervisor...
