A total of 57 people were brutally killed by the greedy Ampatuan clan. Over 100 people committed this carnage, most of them threatened by Goverenor Ampatuan that he will kill their families if they did not do as they were told. The Mangudadatu's (family from the opposing party), 3 of them to be exact, were on their way to the Commission on Elections to file their Certificate of Candidacy. They were accompanied by about 8 lawyers and the remaining were journalists who were supposed to cover the event. The Mangudadatu women were allegedly raped, shot in the face, breasts & vagina. The rest of the entourage were shot with high caliber rifles and their vehicles flattened & buried using a backhoe. This is, by far, the worst election-related brutality in Philippine history. The perpetrators, the Ampatuans, live in luxury in the Mindanao region. They live in sprawling mansions while the rest of the people in their care are living in poverty. The hearing of the case is currently ongoing and the Filipino people are crying for justice for the Massacre victims. Help uspray for Justice. |
