my theory is that they were poachers that thought they were getting the drop on anti poaching rangers, and when they realized their mistake, they were like "fuck it. Might as well commit to it."

Round of Ammo means in fact cartridge... a cartridge consists of a shell (either brass or steel), powder, bullet. What you mean is a magazine, this is where the cartridges are fed into. |
