Newborns Buried in Trees
I came across this and found it really interesting On the island of Sulawesi, in Indonesia, newborn infants who die are buried in the trunks of giant trees. The people there believe that the child’s soul will rise up into the heavens through the tree. · · · · · · · · · · · · · · |

Re: Newborns Buried in Trees
I would think that such a practice would irritate the trees to no end. "Get this crap outta my hair!" |
