Yes, a flag hung upside down is an international symbol of a distress. In America when the flag is flown with the blue stars under the red stripes it means "Union down". Meaning, the very heart of the republic is in peril. Sure, sometimes people do it because they think they are protesting America. Some also do it as a way of communicating their wishes to bring the union down, but the original symbolism is as I described above. |

I got a real eye opener when I looked into the facts of the 9/11 attack. I'm fairly convinced that leaders of the United States had something to do with it to solidify anger against Islam to get the nation to go along with invading Iraq. (Before you slam me, please do some homework on the 9/11 attack. I used to think there was no conspiracy.) |

More accurate than you might think. First time in history a metal framed building collapsed "from fire"....and it didn't happen once on 9/11 but three times. Has never happened since, either. That is, if you believe our government. |

While a bit harsh, everyone IS entitled to their opinion(s) and because of the freedom (freedom is not free) we are aloud in the U.S., we don't have to censor ourselves-much. Hey, he might dislike the U.S. for A, B, or C reason (and honestly, I don't care to know why  ) but that is his opinion and it is up to him to make a change in (A)- his living situation or (B)- challenge the U.S. to his ideas of "bettering" it; be pro-active to make a change, or (C)- simply move out of the country to one that isn't so "shitty"? Moving out of any country is not simple- but the point is to take action instead of complaining and not doing anything at all. Look at all the immigrants from 3rd world countries who come to the U.S.-their living situation in their countries were impeding them from living the life they wanted so they did something about it and left the country, not even knowing that they could make it, at least they tried. So many immigrants from Latin (Central and South) America have the dream to live better lives so they risk their one and only life by coming into this country. Countless Hispanics agree that they rather die trying to leave their countries to have a better life elsewhere than not try to change their living situations at all.
