I am sure he was doing what he sould have been doing, and attempting to protect others. If he seen it was a firecracker, he could have just let it go. But to cause that much damage to his hand, it was larger than a normal firecracker. Therefore, that may be why he tried to "move it" away from the crowd. Not sure of the entire story, but I would guess that to be the case. If he was attempting to save another person from possible injury, then, and only then, he would not be a dumbass. Otherwise, dumbass would fit for sure.  |

I saw the video on TRUTV. He was trying to get it so it would not hit any of the players. Not sure what the hell he thought he was going to do with it!!
