Years ago, I ran across a thread of two people debating the source of this image. One was saying Iraq, one was saying Brazil. Brazil seemed most likely. If you zoom into the knife above his left hand, it says Tramontina which is a Brazilian knife company. They also mentioned shoes and bike being of South America but who knows. This image is one of my all time favorites.
