Old dude sets up a law presence in a small town in the early 1900s. How many people who got in his way did he make “disappear”? And then passing on this attitude to his son, Paul’s grandfather.
So Alex was raised thinking he could do what he liked and was totally above the law. Not at all surprised it fucked Paul up, who clearly struggled with life when he outgrew being able to be calmed by the nanny.

This. SLED also said they are investigating anyone else they may have helped him cover up any and all crimes. I’m sure more will come out but Alex killed both of them. It wouldn’t have been as hard as the defense tried to paint it.

Data collected from his vehicle, gps data from his phone, and data from both victims phones are what really tie everything together.
