Re: Multiple Exhumations

how much they the dead paid you to have their caskets changed once in a while? Did they pay you for the cleaning too? but to be honest, i see nothing wrong with your job, someone has to do it and i admire you for taking that heavy difficult job lightly and being kind enough to share with us... I hope once in a while you get to share creepy moments at your job specially at night... good post...
The purpose of this intervention was not really to change caskets but to make some space for future bodies in the tomb. As it's cheaper to do so than to buy a new one.
the caskets look new but in fact they are decommissioned (not sure if correct) ones. I mean caskets with a scratch or something wrong which cannot be sold anymore to families but I get nice discount for them.
Normally we use special boxes for body reductions very cheap as most of the time only a skeleton is left.
When I saw the mess in this tomb I had to do differently. I managed to put at least two bodies minimum in one casket.
At least they won't complain anymore

And to answer your question, I've never been scared of dead people, but I'm terrified by live ones... I feel safe in graveyards and I tend to avoid society as much as I can. I guess I'm a bit social misfit....
I'm glad that you like the pics.

Wow, I sure hope you're getting compensated well! How old are the bodies?

Re: Multiple Exhumations

A little off topic, mother told me that bell's used to be installed in coffins to stop live-burials (the unfortunate rings the bell to alert people above them) - this true?

Also heard this was stopped as decomposing bodies ring the bells anyway! LOL
