Re: Mother And Daughter Both Fatally Electrocuted
if you are not aware of this, you might want to know that aside from usa and other advanced countries, the rest are not really educated well about first aid, cpr and other resuscitation methods. even those who are well academically educated except those in the nursing and medical field. why out here in the philippines, most case you want your NGO to learn those, you have to put up money for honorarium fee and meals before the Red Cross comes to conduct seminars. out here, it dont usually comes free even in the schools. some cases the redcross do a "free" seminar in bigger schools, they say enrollment is free after you buy your "first aid kit" at a ridiculous amount. so you still puts up money before you learn that. and not many will want to waste food money for it. |

if they do it like its done here, they earn more that way. if the dead folks are too poor, they pass the hat around, then they solicit help from charity and also from encumbent politicians. not to mention that if no one claims the dead, they triple their income by selling the corpses to medical school students for specimens. sometimes justs parts of the dead, internal organs but usually whole corpse.

Re: Mother And Daughter Both Fatally Electrocuted
oh... there's another way to earn money from a poor dead one. most funeral wakes in third world countries, people who visits the wake drops a bit in the collection jar. and while they all chat around, they do a bit of gambling in the wake all night. host of wake gets percentage on every pot money in each of the gambling table. so most cases, the customary 3-5 days of wake are extended as long as they can in pretense that the collected money is not enough to buy memorial lot and to pay for the services |
