Timmins Firefighters used the jaws-of-life rescue tool to remove a full grown moose from the front seat, and a young girl and a young boy from the back seat of this wreck on Highway 101 west of Timmins, Ontario, Canada (2008).
The crash occurred about 10 kilometres west of the Highway 144 turnoff. The collision forced the animal through the windshield and into the car.
The driver of the vehicle was the children's father. Police say his injuries were serious but not life threatening. All three were transported to Timmins and District Hospital for treatment.
