I'm very surprised about this thread.

The third image is indeed of the infamous Hòa thượng Thích Quảng Đức, yet the first two images are of a female nun who immolated herself a little under three years later. Thich Nu Thanh Quang was too protesting against the US' involvement in the War.

The powerful and terribly upsetting video can be found [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kr5S3b2j-lw"]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia] It has a beautiful sound-track by Texan-based band 'Explosions in the Sky' (get me, fact finders!) so I can recommend sound on your puny PC systems.

BTW, if you don't have a Youtube account, you *may* not be able to see it so don't fucking flame me (no pun intended) if you can't. OK?
