Missing Police Officer Found Dead in the Boot of a Car
This has been quite big news over in Brazil + I've been keeping up with it for the last few days. A death photo has finally been released, so now I can post! In Paraisópolis, 27 year old police officer, Juliane dos Santos Duarte went missing 5 days ago (2nd August 2018). Last night (6th August) her body was found in the back of a Honda Civic that had been parked up for the last 3 days. Juliane had last been seen at a bar talking to 2 girls. The bar was known for being one of the most dangerous in the area. She apparently put her phone down + when she noticed that it was gone, she announced that she is a police officer. Witnesses state that she was kidnapped by 4 hooded men. It's also said that 2 gunshots were heard. Juliane's motorbike was also missing. Police had thought the car being parked up was suspicious. They checked out the plates to see if anything came up but there was nothing illegal recorded (stolen vehicle etc...). Still, after the car being parked for 3 days, the police decided to open the boot. They found the body of Juliane inside. The police had just arrested the 45 year old man suspected of abandoning Juliane's motorbike. Another suspect in the murder has also been arrested. Juliane was buried today.

Definitely confused about her femininity - makes a cute, but dumb guy though. Why would she announce that she was a cop in a bad area over a cell phone.
