4 shots into the chest as a suicide is totally plausible. getting shot doesn't mean you die instantly like you see in movies, unless the bullet destroys the brain, in which some people even still outlive. depending on how much internal damage was done to the heart lungs etc she either died of blood loss, internal bleeding, drowning by a buildup of fluid/blood in the lungs, etc. and all of these are not instant. she had plenty of time to pop off 4 rounds
