Man Tied Down with Electrical Cords and Murdered in His Home
Australia - This middle-aged male individual was assaulted in his home. When the individual was located his ankles were tied together and there was a cord tied tightly around his neck. In addition to multiple skin injuries to the face, the individual had an electrical cord around the neck. There were indentations associated with the ligatures and bruising seen within the muscles of the neck. Fig.1 Anterior left lateral view of the head and neck showing the electrical cord wrapped around the neck. Fig.2 Anterior view of the head, chest, and upper extremities showing numerous injuries including multiple patterned, lacerated and abraded injuries to the head, neck, and chest. A neck dissection showed a region of hemorrhage with an obvious fracture of the right thyroid cartilage. There was also a fracture of the left superior cornu of the thyroid cartilage with associated bruising. The individual had numerous other injuries including dental avulsions and multiple patterned (circular punched out), lacerated, and abraded injuries to the head, neck, and chest. One of these injuries had extended from the left side of the neck and ruptured the larynx. Cause of Death: Multiple injuries to the head and neck. Fig.3 Anterior view of the thyroid cartilage showing defects to each side of the body of the thyroid cartilage. Fig.4 Axial reconstruction of the intact hyoid bone. NB: the radio dense object near the left great cornu of the hyoid bone is the detached central incisor (red arrow). The fractured left superior cornu of the thyroid cartilage indicated the application of neck compression. It is not uncommon for cases of ligature strangulation to result in fracturing of the more superficial thyroid cartilage but not involve the hyoid bone which is protected behind the chin. There was bruising and abrasions to the metacarpophalangeal regions (knuckles), which depending upon the circumstances of the incident could be interpreted as offensive in nature. There were parallel linear abrasions on the anteromedial aspect of the right forearm which, depending on the circumstances, could be interpreted as “defensive” in nature. Fig.5 VR image of the left lateral view of the skull and bones of the neck showing the fractures of the right thyroid cartilage lamina and left superior cornu (white arrow). Fig.6 VR image of the anterior skull showing multiple traumatic maxillary and mandibular dental avulsions. Information about the Weapon: Electrical cord; other (unknown). Postmortem CT showed that the hyoid bone was intact but that there were fractures of the right thyroid cartilage lamina and left superior cornu. A loose central incisor was noted in the oropharynx adjacent to the hyoid. There were multiple traumatic dental avulsions centrally in the maxilla and mandible. - This post is for educational purposes only and is nonprofit. All I can say is that kangaroos and wallabies have the same status in Australia, that Squirrel Elements have here. So you had best watch your ass if you are going to Australia.

Re: Man Tied Down with Electrical Cords and Murdered in His Home
I brake for squirrels, too. But not the ones carrying guns on a motorcycle, and trying to kill me. Or teeny-tiny chain saws, trying to hit me in the head with a branch. Or little extension cords, trying to strangle me. Other than those, I like squirrels. They are cheerful little creatures. When they are not ardently hoping to see your cold body splayed out on the ground. I'm sure kangaroos and wallabies are perfectly nice, too. I bet you can even feed them a strawberry. But avoid the ones that are idlers, layabouts, miscreants, thugs, or delinquents. |

Re: Man Tied Down with Electrical Cords and Murdered in His Home
It is EASY to tell the kangaroos that are delinquents. They sometimes have tattoos, they swear a lot, and they chew tobacco. They also have a VERY bad attitude. They wear bandanas, and they refer to women as "Chicks". Some of them ride motorcycles.
