Yes, he's badly burned but not CHARRED. There is a difference.
The fire must've been put out in relatively quick manner through someone else's intervention or that guys body would have kept burning to a crisp.

How hard is that to understand?

Doesn't really matter it was enough to kill him. All he needed to do was heat his internal organs for long enough and it's game over.

I personally am always gruesomely entranced by the skin slippage on burn victims. Especially his hands!

I will never understand using this method for protest, or even suicide. It's like they picked the most painful way to go...fuck that.
