After he got burned he ran around in his panties trying to get the courage to jump off the overpass. Finally, he went with the gun.

That's the aftermath of Daniel Victor Jones' suicide. Live on TV! There's a lot of controversy around it due to poor timing mostly (IMHO). It was in the afternoon, the station was broadcasting cartoons because that's the hour where most kids are watching TV. The transmission was interrupted and replaced by the news of a guy who was acting irrational and forced the police to shut down part of the freeway to deal with him. The kids ended up watching Jones attempting suicide by fire (he set his truck on fire with him inside), stripping naked from the waist down (after he failed to immolate himself his pants were on fire), attempting a jump from the freeway (he thought about it while balancing on the border), getting back his shotgun from the (still on fire) truck and shooting his own brains out. "NO MOM!!!! NOT SPONGEBOB AGAIN!!! WE WANT JONES!!!!!" |

Yeah.... that was crazy. He set himself on fire, and decided that was too painful. He jumped out of the truck with his pants on fire, and ripped them off. He ran around in his 'Fruit of the Looms' trying to get the courage to jump from the overpass. Finally, he shot himself in the head. The blood just poured out of him. He had aids and had made a little banner, he laid in the road. It was sad but comical as well.   For some reason I always thought he had a child in the truck not a dog.
