I wonder

if these people think killing their partners before themselves will keep them with them. Or maybe they're just off their heads and then can't live with what they've done.....

EDIT: My mistake, I hadn't got round to posting it yet (could have sworn I had, but it's still in my 'to post' files). Here's what I collected on it (not complete though, as I hadn't finished researching it, but someone else can do it if they want).

Man killed women then himself
A woman was shot by her partner, a member of the National Police, who after attacking her was wounded in the same way, in an incident that occurred in the Los Pinos sector, Moca municipality, Espaillat province.

This is Manuel Fernández Peña, who receives medical attention at a health center in that town after causing a head injury, so her health is critical.


Meanwhile, the lady is treated after being injured in the neck and one of her legs.
Investigations are expanded to continue clarifying this unfortunate event, supposedly caused by passionate issues
Regarding this fact, the institution of order resoundingly rejects this kind of acts that go against individual and collective well-being, especially our role as defenders of peaceful coexistence.


Una mujer resultó herida de bala por parte de su pareja, un raso de la Policia Nacional, quien tras atacarla se hirió de la misma manera, en un hecho ocurrido en el sector Los Pinos, municipio de Moca, provincia Espaillat.

Se trata del raso Manuel Fernández Peña, quien recibe atenciones médicas en un centro de salud de esa localidad tras ocasionarse herida en la cabeza, por lo que su estado de salud es crítico. En tanto, la dama es atendida tras ser herida en el cuello y una de sus piernas.

Se amplían las investigaciones para continuar esclareciendo este lamentable suceso, supuestamente originado por asuntos pasionales.

Sobre este hecho, la institución del orden rechaza de manera rotunda esta clase de actos que van en contra del bienestar individual y colectivo, sobre todo de nuestro rol como defensores de la convivencia pacífica.

Following up on the grievous case where a National Police officer hi-ripped his partner near his residence and then dis-stood on his head.
It was reported to the editorial of LosMocanos.com that the young man of PN Manuel Augusto Fern ándndez Pe ñaa died at 8:00 p.m. who was operated and according to doctors suffered brain death.
The relatives of the injured young mother clarified that her real name is Braileny Méndez Lantigua, who was cited today with her partner, the dead raso, to finalize the result of a DNA test that her they performed their son..
Where the result of this test was negative, revealing that Augusto Fernandez was not the real father of the child.
The official report says Manuel received a call from a man who is in prison in La Isleta prison in Mocha where he told him the child was not his (his) but his (inmate) and was indeed not his son.
What was filled with anger to the agent and led him to want to take the life of his partner and then commit suicide, the event happened late this Thursday in the Manuel Rodriguez sector in this municipality of Mocha.
The preliminary report states that Méndez Lantigua was shot in the neck and another in the leg, it was stabilized and is out of danger.
While the authorities handed over Manuel Fern ándndez Pe ñaa's body to his relatives, to be veiled and received Christian burial.
