Re: Man Killed Sex Worker, Dumped Body Outside His House
Thank you. I feel sad for sex workers because I think sex is such a beautiful, fantastic, and fun thing to share with someone you care about. Selling sex doesn't just cheapen it, it takes something from your soul. But I also realize it's their body, and their right to do with their body as they wish, though our laws say differently. I think our laws regarding prostitution are partly meant to protect, but they are also very cruel and degrading; much depends on the LEO(s) involved at the time. But even in Nevada where prostitution is legal, it is not always a happy situation. Nothing is comfortable in a room where someone owns you body and soul for half an hour. Still, the pay is good, and they provide healthcare. There are no easy answers. I do know this much, I worked with children for over 20 years, no child ever grows up thinking, "I want to be a prostitute when I grow up"! We need to do better for all our kids. |

Re: Man Killed Sex Worker, Dumped Body Outside His House
While I agree I think the pimps are often under appreciated; they protect the sex workers and often provide food and shelter, and they can instil discipline if needed which is part of the job also. This is not always a nice job. And when one of your workers gets murdered: that’s on you. Many pimps face guilt over losing their favorite workers to murder. Also it has financial consequences. If anyone wants to use their body to make money, and requires the services of a watchful protector who helps them deal with the financial stuff, it should be celebrated instead of frowned upon IMO |

I agree again. I retired from the transportation field. I know all about those That nasty ugly name calling I did was a shock factor/wake up call of the vileness of that profession. No one deserves to die like that., male or female. Let’s not get too chumsy though, cause I still am a BIG ASSHOLE |

Re: Man Killed Sex Worker, Dumped Body Outside His House
Let’s change the rhetoric: sex work isn’t “bad”. It’s “one of the oldest professions” because there’s a massive human-need/desire demand for the services for infinite reasons. The only reason it is illegal is to take the power away from the sex workers: because men from ALL DAMN RANKS engage in it constantly, especially lawyers, doctors, dentists, rich guys, and all other kinds of men in every color, religion, and job-trade. The demand creates the profession offerings. Stop demonizing sex-workers. If they were taken more seriously, they could help prevent some real psychos from some serial killing stuff. Many sex workers are too fearful to report the horrible clients due to stupid laws and repercussions.
