Man Killed After Being Hit by Delivery Truck in Brazil
A municipal worker died after being hit by a delivery truck in near Fortaleza, Brazil. According to police reports, the victim was driving on his motorcycle towards work when he was surprised, and run over by the truck. The man received first aid at the scene, and was then transported to the City Hospital in Aracati, which was only a few meters away from the scene. Yet due to the severity of his injuries, he was taken to a hospital in Fortaleza, which is nearly 92 miles away from the Aracati hospital. He died hours later.  ·

Chris: that hospital must be a few kilometers from the scene. A meter is slightly more than a yard.
