So rather than talk to her parents and explain what happened, she kills herself. It just seems too extreme for the situation. It sucks that she felt that was her only choice.

The police should try to track down that phone. And if they find it press charges against that teacher. She probably found it later and said "oh yeah, now I remember." They should press charges anyway. |
