Liver Explosion From GSW
Apparently, this was caused by a gunshot wound. The liver is normally smooth & reddish-brown in appearance, not resembling the contents of shepherd's pie like this! Patient died on the table.  · |

This patient has sustained a gunshot wound. Transfered imediately to the OR, a xiphopuibic laparotomy with extention to the abdomen was done. He had a blasted liver (Grade V lesion) as the only intrabdominal lesion. The patient died on table from exanguination.
