Perhaps thats a 20th century Mangolian kitchen? You just throw used dishes in that hole and a woman washes them inside the box. Which would make sense as to why there is a used bowl on the ground, and why the woman got herself stuck trying to reach for it.

Doh.  I thought you were using that particularly nauseating Americanism of saying 'going to the bathroom' rather than 'taking a piss'.  I developed a peculiar hatred for it when some rape victim wrote in an impact statement "and then he went to the bathroom on my face" when, in fact, the rapist had quite simply pissed on her face.  |
