Re: Lawyer Stabbed to Death on Her Bed by New Boyfriend
Big difference between a 35 year old man dating a 22 year old woman and a 35 year old woman dating a 22 year old man.

Re: Lawyer Stabbed to Death on Her Bed by New Boyfriend
Depends on the diagnosis. I learned the hard way that bipolar is too much for me. But if it’s depression, anxiety, or ADHD, I’m fine with it. I have my own laundry list of diagnoses given by one doctor or another, including autism, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and adjustment disorder, and I consider myself perfectly dateable.

Re: Lawyer Stabbed to Death on Her Bed by New Boyfriend
The old man I dated would joke with me about how he adopted me from a Chinese orphanage (I’m of Chinese descent, he’s white.) And that he couldn’t get me pregnant because I’m prepubescent and have never had a period before (the real reason I haven’t had a period for years is because I have an IUD). Though to be fair I look like a kid, being 5’0, 95 lbs, and flat chested. I go for men within 5 years of my own age now. |

Bloody hell, that's really disturbing. You shouldn't justify that old perverts words, there's no excuse for saying those things to you. I'm glad you're out of it now.

Re: Lawyer Stabbed to Death on Her Bed by New Boyfriend
Not at all. A 22 year old woman in her prime may be very interested in a 35 year old man in his prime. A 35 year old man is more likely to be financially secure and have an idea of what he wants out of life than a man in his early 20's, and men don't have a biological clock preventing them from being able to have kids past a certain time, which at an instinctual level controls a lot of our decisions and tendencies. A 35 year old woman is always past her prime, less fertile, less attractive, and getting ready for the scrap heap in most cases. If a 22 year old man ends up with her he'll most likely grow out of her or change his mind later on. I mean, even if she looks reasonable now, what 32 year old man wants a 45 year old woman, of 42 to 55, it just doesn't work. 35 is the tipping point for women from which they only go downhill. I think the normal range would go from 'Man being 15 years older' to 'Woman being 5 years older'. Anything outside of that range starts to get a bit weird unless there is a very good reason. |

Re: Lawyer Stabbed to Death on Her Bed by New Boyfriend
So all it comes down to are 'looks', not surprising going by your other posts in this section. If you think that there's nothing wrong with a 35 year old man chasing after a 22 year old, you're messed up, it's disgusting.
